3rd Reich  Wehrmacht Heer  visorcap, infantry.  Vorschriftsmäßig ( made by army order) type. Frontline fashion variant, hat's spring was removed by the owner to make the shape more fashion and named in German -Knautschmütze. Size marking is 55, but the real size is approx. 57-58. Has maker's stamp on the sweatband  J Denecke Uniformmützenfabrik Burgdorf/Hane, also unit number 2./J.R 93 (bad visible). Used condition, sweatband partly re-stitched (approx. 3 cm). Overall condition is good, just few minor moth holes.
All insignia is original to the hat and ww2 period hand applied.
