Description

WW2 M43 set of  tunic and trousers made from USA wool. Absolutely matching set by color and cloth. High quality made tailor's work. Rank and branch: Major of artillery.  Few award holes for medals, orders and guards badge are visible on the breast. Actually that is an everyday uniform, but as well known and widely seen from period pictures/films more than 70% of officers and even NCO's used this type of everyday tunics in the field at the front line.  No one in Red Army followed orders in usage of uniforms at the front.  Officers and soldiers very often followed the fashion and usability. The tunic is in very good condition, just has few minor moth holes. Has red piping at the cuffs, All period made buttons and other insignia is original to the tunic, period attached. Size of the tunic is approx. 46 european and trousers is 46-48 (medium). The trousers are in near mint condition, no damage,  factory made and stamped, dated 1945. All buttons are ww2 period attached. Very good condition set, untouched as was received from vet's family in Estonia.
