3 rd Reich Double Decal Polizei, Austrian M 16 steel helmet

Very nice and rare double decal Polizei, Austrian M 16 steel helmet, at least twice re-issued and repainted. Eagle side has at least 3 layers of decals. First layer of decals are overpainted with mouse grey color as seen on some early SS helmets. The helmet is personalized and owner inscribed: Neuhuber Hptstrmf (Hauptsturmfuehrer). The left side of the helmet has two holes for the police shield decal as often seen on early M16th Police helmets. The liner has some minor damage and the chinstraps is broken in the place where it was connected to the helmet. One looker police helmet!
