Commemorative badge of the Estonian Red Riflemen. High quality made badge. Issued in 1968, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the formation of the Red Estonian Riflemen Regiment, on the initiative of the Association of Civil War Veterans of the Estonian SSR, the badge "Estonian Red Rifleman" was issued. The numbered badge was worn on the right side of the chest on a red rosette made of red rep ribbon. The badges were firstly awarded to veterans who fought in the Estonian units, secondly to various organizations and people contributing to the activities of the organization, as well as high party ranks. It is known that no more than 1,000 pieces were produced. Estonian Red Riflemen - Eesti Punased Kütid - Red Guard units, consisting of ethnic Estonians who took part in the fight against Yudenich's White Army, as well as White-Estonian national units.
