Branch: HEER
Product Code: o87/1
Out of stock

Description

Double decal German army steel helmet M1935 with the remains of camouflage paint at 50%. Photos do not clear show detailed color of the helmet. The helmet is painted with unstable matte paint in about the same tone as the factory color but is more matte. Some areas have a brownish paint, and in some places is closer to khaki. We added in gallery few photos taken on the daylight without flash to help to see the camo. The paint is unstable and scratched with a fingernail. The left decal with the national eagle has minor damage due to use, the right decal with the national flag has small chips bursting bubbles due to wear and age. There are minor areas with a slight loss of paint on the helmet. In general, the very good condition, marked: N.S 64 D.3. Chinstrap made by Rahm & Kampmann 1937. A leather liner is in excellent condition, with slight rips, and traces of hard wear, but very soft and pliable. Signed on the front of liner by H. Gaÿ (Belgian or a French name).  The aluminum part of the liner is dated 1938. Size 56. Very nice helmet.
