EST. SICH. Gr. 11/183 ID disc, Estonian volunteer

EST. SICH. Gr. 11/183 ID disc issued to Estonian volunteer who served in Security Battalion Nr. 183/coy 11. This battalion was committed to front line service with 18th Army, from October 1941, achieving good combat reputation. They took actions at the Leningrad and Volkhov front. Later in 1943 this battalion was progressively transferred to Waffen SS. Found near barracks at the SS training camp. Very rare foreigner volunteer dogtag!
