Description

Estonian-made Soviet guards badge. The former factory of Roman Tavast, a pupil of  the well known Russian jeweler - Faberge. Therefore, all insignia made for RKKA in Estonia are famous for their quality. End of war or early postwar made badge.  The screwback is marked: Tallinn Juveelitehas. The badge is made of copper and covered with gilding. There are absolutely minor chips along with the banner. It is an extremely rare to find a badge in this condition. Usually, such badges have several cracks and rather serious enamel chips.
