German WW2 bayonet-asw 43 Seitengewehr 84/98, SG 84/98 for Karabiner K98

German WW2 bayonet- Seitengewehr 84/98, SG 84/98 for Karabiner K98. Completed with a leather frog (or Seitengewehrtragetasche) which is earlier type, and most probably was attached by the previous collector. The "frog" is in salty condition, has some damage and dated 1939 year.  The maker marks on the bayonet stamped onto the top of the blade. On the reverse - the batch number and suffix.  Markings: 43 asw  and serial #: 5547 qq    Maker: E. & F. Horster & Co. Solingen, date of production: 1943. The scabbard and the bayo are made by same maker.  Interesting to note that the serial numbers on the scabbard (5817 qq) and the blade (5547 qq) are practically the same. The difference is just in 270 pcs.  and most probably they were mixed up during the cleaning or other maintenance in the German depot. The bayonet is in excellent unsharpened condition with a fully blued grip and blade. No rust.
