HJ Fahrtenmesser made by ASSO with etched blade with motto, Blut und Ehre. Nearly flawless HJ dagger produced by the firm ASSO which is a abbreviated name of a firm "A.Schüttelhöfer & Co. Solingen-Wald". Nickel plated hilt, stag horn grip plates with enameled HJ emblem. Black lacquered steel scabbard with riveted black leather hanger. Two crossed horses logo with ASSO - Solingen around it appears on the ricasso area of the excellent condition blade. Scabbard paint retain 95% of original finish. Hilt shows very minor wear with one small crack to the red enamel on the HJ badge located on the center of the stag grip, which is otherwise intact and perfectly inset into the handle. The leather washer is intact, but broken.
