M 40 Heeres or Waffen SS camouflaged helmet. The helmet has 100% ww2 period paint which could pass any test or hand inspection, however on the rim of the helmet the paint is added over the rust craters. Some people do not like that because they thought that it’s impossible when the helmet got a rust like that during the service. But in real the helmet could got rust in the field, at the front where it could be for a long time in the open air with bad weather condition. The inner ring which keep the leather part seems has been changed, may be by the same reason - the liner became hard to use and was replaced. The chinstrap is nice and pliable, RB NR marked. The helmet marked Q66 and it's after 1941 year of production due it’s marked on the back part of the neck’s guard apron. Very nice 3 camo color helmet for very reasonable price.
