M35 NKVD visor hat, circa end of 30's. Rare combination - the hat band is a crimson color instead of maroon. Similar hats has been often found in the northern part of USSR.. The hat is moth damaged. Star, chinstrap and buttons are not original to the hat and added by previous owner. Size 57-58. Has some museum markings and yellow producer stamp, but unclear.
