M35 single decal SS helmet, battlefield found in the swamp near Narva, in the bunker. The helmet is named: Willi Albert Weiss. We made a research and found that the owner the Unterscharfuehrer Willi Albert Weiss was killed in action in Februar 02, 1944 year and then buried in der Sammelfriedhof in Narwa town. Probably helmet was lost by him in the battle. The liner and the chinstrap are professionally cleaned to the original condition (due of black color due of ages under the swamp). The leather is soft playable. Just the threads was rotten and gone. The helmet has some damages on the edge. Also springs which connect the liner to the helmet are missed due of swamps acid and time. We can professionally restore them with original parts if you want, for the of 120 , also we can restore the stitchings on the liner and chinstrap for 30 . The vent holes are missed. The decal has two layers, the second one is under the paint, which was applied by regulations of 1943 year. The national flag decal was scrubbed too. Helmet is by the EF factory and shell is in size 62, the neck guard apron is named A. Weiss. Also are visible some initials on the leather part of the liner: A.W., which is in size 56. The liner is outside is marked H.M and that could be previous or later owner of the helmet. Real item with real history behind it and spirit of war.
