Circular crimp and rounded pin with "Deschler" type catch as shown in the Thomas Durantes book "Close combat clasp" by number 9.1. It's nicely gilded and survived practically 90 % of gilding, however, some minor places of the diffused areas persist. Nothing to add, just a very fine example
