M 38 Wehrmacht Heeres side hat for motorized infantry or panzergrenadier, the hat was found in Estonia, where it was stored in one family for many years as a memorable after the German soldier forgot it in their house where he stopped for  a short period between battles.  It most probably belonged to the soldier of the 61 Infanterie Division, because this unit operated in Estonia in 1941 year and exactly in the area where the hat was found. Excellent condition hat with grass green soutache, marked by Julius Ries Berlin and dated 1941 year. Stamp of the Berlin Bekleidungslager BII41 shows the hat has been twice issued. Size 55. Excellent condition hat.
