Russian Imperial Army. Goggles for the wet gas mask of the Chemical Committee at GAM (Government Artillery Management) constructed by engineer Prokofiev and this is the very first gas mask type constructed by Mining Institute. The goggles are made of a standard Russian Army pea-green color velvet, glued to a rubberized calico. On the inside part of the glasses there is an ink stamp on the lining: "Кр. Кр по Куб. обл комитетъ по изготовленiю очковъ г. Екатеринодаръ" -  Red Cross of Kuban regional committee for the manufacture of glasses in Ekaterinodar (now Krasnodar). Glasses in excellent condition. Unfortunately, there is a slight crack on one glass. All metal parts have original factory paint. Finding such glasses in a similar condition on the modern market is most likely not possible. Extremely rare example of early Imperial Russian gas protection equipment.
