Soviet pre-war boots Valenki, felt made traditional Russian footwear, very useful for extremely cold Ostfront winters. The boots model is the same, without any serious changes for the last 200 years. We have seen same boots made in Imperial Russia and from more early period marked with military depot markings. These boots were found in quantity in one old forgotten Belorussian army stock after Army began to clean it from old stuff. The boots have factory and military depot/stocks markings on the sole and most of them are pre-war dated, but unclear.
