Wehrmacht armored reconnaissance officer's side cap

Wehrmacht armored reconnaissance officer's side cap. The Schiffchen was purchased together with the owner's wrap and pants. The cap belonged to a lieutenant from the 22nd reconnaissance armored detachment of the Wehrmacht. The cap is rare because of fact that it's a regular factory-made and not a custom- tailor-made example as it's widely seen and normal for most others officer's caps. Lining with a regular factory markings with size 56 and the manufacturer: L.L.Gen. Mützen Niedersachsen Hersteller Nr 27. 1941. The cap is made of a very rough cloth same as used on Panzerwraps. There are a couple of small moth holes. All insignia and soutache are hand-sewn and are definitely original to the cap.
