Wehrmacht Heer or Waffen SS combat A frame RB Nr marked " Sturmgepäck " Gefechtsgepäck für Infanterie-Schützenkompanien M 39. This is a rare variant made from M36 and M40 tunic's hooks suspenders. It's in worn condition with one the leather strap changed, but all others are original to the A-frame. A lot of frames are seen with changed or repaired straps and that is normal for hard used field gear. We can't say was it ww2 period done or not, but it looks fine and only close hand inspection can open this issue. In general it's a great used condition frame.
