Wehrmacht infantry officers visor hat from standard field cloth. Size 56. A little bit used condition. Sweatband has some damage, most likely due of age. It has slight moths damage on the piping and dark green band which is felt made. The main part and the bottom of the cap are made of standard field wool cloth which is usually used for producing enlisted ranks combat uniforms. An aluminum eagle is on the peak and the band is decorated with early type nickel-silver cockade and wreath. On the inside of the cap there is a celluloid diamond with inscription "Stirndruckfrei Deutsches Reichspatent" and paper label with owner's name: Rudolf Howeg.
