Wehrmacht HEER Parade Tunic Waffenrock for major of armored troops. The tunic belonged to the commander of the 3rd company in 2nd tanks regiment - Friedrich-Wilhelm Scheidemann.  His name is often mentioned in different ww2 memoirs. The tunic is private tailored by famous,  best of the best tailor in 3rd Reich - Wilhelm Holters, Berlin. This producer was private tailor for top leaders of 3rd Reich like Hitler, Goering and others.   The tailor's cloth tag is attached on the liner and the tag with the owner's name is stitched inside the internal pocket.  The Waffenrock was made in 1937. The owner's rank by this time was  Fahnenjunker.  Has also military storage stamp: Geprüft. IV.Insp. Kr. Sch?   You can find the owner's military career below. Scheidemann was awarded with German Cross in gold in February, 1944.  There are loops for this decoration on the right side of the breast and many other loops for different awards on the left side. The shoulder boards are for rank major. Most probably the owner used this tunic from 1937 till he got rank of major in 1944 and he just change shoulder straps each time when he got new rank. Minor damage at the back area, but in general the tunic looks great.   Been tall  (175-180 cm) Scheidemann at the same time was very thin man. The tunic's size is approx. 46. (small to medium).
